Biography

Hassan is a first-year undergraduate student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He worked on a project in 2017 when he was a high schooler, and he built a carbon dioxide sensor and studied the impact of carbon dioxide on grapevines. He used to work on a collaborative project which entailed building an autonomous rover integrated with an Intel Realsense camera that would be able to determine grapevine cluster compactness and count. Hassan has taught programming to students since elementary school and founded a non-profit called “The Bay Coders” in 2016, where he taught programming worldwide.

Hassan will return to the Digital Ag Lab in the summer of 2023 as an undergraduate intern.
